Why do hang nails, paper cuts and nasty sharp objects hurt?

where is our threshold for pain. BRING ME MORE NOW!!!!Why do hang nails, paper cuts and nasty sharp objects hurt?
You described 2 things that usually happen to the fingers... Well, there are tons of nerve endings on our fingers... To help us feel... Unfortunately, when we get hurt, we feel the pain.

Everyone has a different pain tolerance level... Not sure how you can increase yours. Why do hang nails, paper cuts and nasty sharp objects hurt?
are you on glue buddy?
Don't ever give birth!
its mind over matter, were programmed to think everything hurts, but in reality it doesn't, if you tell yourself that your gonna cut yourself with the paper and it wont hurt and then cut yourself it wont hurt, but with the punching I am still trying to master that one not to hurt lmaobut in all it is mind over matter if you tell a child it will hurt as they grow they continue to think it hurts, if you tell a child it won't hurt they will grow to not even think of the pain and it won't hurt.
your fingers are one of the most sensitive areas on a persons body. it may not seem like it because we are constantly using them. you have several tiny nerves and veins that go through your fingers.
