Best choices for attaching with minimal hole or no hole in drywall is called ';Monkey Hook'; or ';Hurricane Hook'; which is a thin wire (like bent paperclip) that pushes thru wall. They claim 50 lbs but it actually only holds 20 lbs (i've tested to failure @ 40lbs). Other choice is 3M ';Command Hooks'; they stick to wall with special adhesive strip that is removable. There are 3 sizes, rated at 1, 3 or 5 lbs. No holes in wall is key feature.

But, a hook that doesn't nail into the wall that can be easily moved? Short of the old fashioned picture frame moulding, hung high on the wall and from which paintings could be hung and moved around the room, what can you do? There are sticky tape backed hangers but they leave a mess.





There are nowadays those picture hangers that have a hardened steel nail that is black in color and very narrow as to make installing them very easy. They practically can be pushed in by hand, the nail is so thin. Would that work?
3M makes a product called Command Strips. You can get them in several different sizes and varieties of hooks. They remove easily without damaging the wall surface, some will hold several pounds, and they're very secure. I'm a teacher, and I use them to hang all kinds of things on the concrete block walls of my classroom. Nothing else would stick!
These are the perfect solution for hanging pictures in an office. You do not make any holes and they don't leave adhesive on the wall if you ever have to move offices. You can find them at Home Depot, Lowe's, Wal-Mart and sometimes even in the grocery store.

Hi, those sticky things will pull off the paper on drywall, don't use them! You would be surprised how much weight a straight pin will hold when pushed in the wall at a 45 degree angle and it leaves no trace! Try using fishing line on the frame and loop over the pin. Good luck! Bill
I would suggest liquid nail it's a very strong glue, after you glue you need to mask it on the frame to hold it to place for at least 24 hours. still I would recommend screws or nails.
